    Hi, ref earlier about Edinburghs poor performance in light airs, what you can do is check the freeboard and compare with the other boats. ie. get a bit of string with a weight and drop from toe rail to the water. If your distance is less than the other boats you are carrying more ballast. Remember that displacement volume = equivalent weight of water so even a few inches lower and you are hulking a LOT more weight around.
